Sample size: 5.4 x 2.7 x 1.3 cm (top/2nd row), 4.6 x 2.9 x 1.4 cm (3rd row), 2.1 x 1.6 x 0.9 cm (bottom)

 

Loose floater crystals of anglesite, seldom seen from this locality! At the time, thought a new mineral, they were named "Bouglisite" as the old label reflects. These were found during one of the Sorbonne-sponsored expeditions of Eduard Cumenge in the late 1800s. Rare and fascinating pieces of historical mineralogy!
