Habit: Radiating fibrous spherulites, 2 to 3 mm forming concretions, sheaf-like growths, bladed crystals elongated and striated || [100]

Specific gravity: 2.05 to 2.14

Cleavage: {010}, {100} indistinct

Tenacity: Brittle, conchoidal fracture
