Tenacity: Brittle, granular fracture

Streak:  Greyish black

 

Synonyms/varieties:

 

Comments:  Series with galena. Found in association with other selenides in low sulphur hydrothermal deposits, also in mercury deposits. Probably of secondary origin in some deposits.
